Table management in a POS system is essential for running food and beverage businesses smoothly. It helps staff assign and keep track of tables, which ensures guests are seated quickly and wait times are reduced. With a centralized system, staff can easily check table statuses and customer orders. This results in faster service, more accurate order processing, and an organized dining experience, leading to satisfied customers.
In this module, you will set up your tables. Please ensure you create a table section in the Resources module first.
Click to create a table.
Input the desired table number or name.
Select a table section.
Enter the number of seats the table can accommodate.
Select the shape of the table; Triangle is the default option.
Specify the status of the table if active.
Click once done. You may click button at the bottom of the Resource to delete a table.
