Instead of printing tickets, the KDS displays incoming orders on a monitor in real time, reducing errors and streamlining food preparation.

⚙️ KDS Setup & Configuration

⚠️ Please contact Clibase Customer Support to set up your KDS devices.

Once set up, you may customize the following options:

  • KDS Name Set the name that will appear on your KDS device (visible in the POS Advanced Interface).

  • Product Categories Select which categories of items should appear on the KDS screen and/or print to the KDS printer (e.g., Drinks, Grill Station, Pastry).

  • Time and Level Colors Adjust color-coded time settings to visually track order progress and delays (if supported by your monitor).

  • Order Slip Preferences Decide whether an order slip prints for each item and configure the print size to suit your kitchen setup.
